What is GrantConnect?
The following definitions apply for the purpose of GrantConnect:
Agency means (as the context requires) any one or more Commonwealth entity or Commonwealth company as those terms are defined in the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth)
Forecast Opportunities (FOs) are used to advertise potential Grant Opportunities (GOs) by providing limited information and an estimated period of release of the potential GO. Information on how to apply for grants will be specified on individual GOs.
Refers to the specific grant round or process where a Commonwealth grant is made available to potential grantees. Grant opportunities may be open or targeted, and will reflect the relevant grant selection process.
Australian Government’s whole-of-government grants information system, which centralises the publication and reporting of Commonwealth grants.
The time and date that Grant applications must be submitted as detailed in the relevant GO documentation;
Includes:
(i) loss of income or revenue;
(ii) a loss of opportunity or goodwill;
(iii) a loss of profits;
(iv) a loss of anticipated savings or business;
(v) loss of value of any equipment;
(vi) loss or corruption of data;
(vii) pure economic loss; and
(viii) any indirect loss
A GO Application that is not submitted before the Closing Time
Any person (including an individual or organisation/company) that has registered an account on GrantConnect;
The Agency that issued the GO documentation;
An application submitted to the relevant GO using the Grant Connect website
Any person (including an individual or organisation/company) that is accessing or using GrantConnect and includes a Registered User
